Objective: 
  • The course will enable the students to:

    • Better understand the techniques of documentation and research methodology
    • Produce  coherent and logically-argued writing, demonstrating the ability to operate independently
    • Address the issues of research ethics and theoretical arguments, and enable them to apply those to their own research

 

 

  • The student will be required to prepare and submit a Project Report or Term Paper, requiring two hours per week of self- study outside the class. There will be an external evaluation by a Subject-Expert and a Departmental Panel, at the end of the Semester.

The division of marks will be as follows:

  • Internal Evaluation  (Continuous Assessment) -30 marks, on the basis of :
  • Regularity
  • Review of Literature
  • Contact with the Supervisor
  • Originality of the Work

 

  • Seminar and Viva Voce – 70 (40+30) marks

There will be a Subject Expert and two Departmental Examiners, one of whom will be the Supervisor
