Objective: 

The course will enable the students to:

  • Develop a knowledge of research ethics and techniques of documentation
  • Critique texts with reference to the socio-cultural milieu in which they are set
  • Develop critical thinking skills to examine literary works even beyond the prescribed syllabus

The students will be required to prepare and submit a Project Report, requiring two hours per week of self- study outside the class. There will be an external evaluation (viva-voce) by a Subject-Expert and one faculty member from the Department, at the end of the Semester.
