The Course will enable the students to critique the socio-cultural contexts, trends, and unique styles of representative Indian writers writing in English and explore and appreciate diverse literary forms, while examining a variety of influences as reflected in literature.

The students will:
CO7.Develop an understanding of the trends and individual style of the representative writers from the Sufi and Bhakti traditions, writing in Hindi and Urdu
CO8. Assess Indian culture via the English language and explore philosophical and cultural representations of various issues, examining the role of diversity to understand tribal/ dalit voices
