Reading Poetry and Drama
Course Objectives:
The course will enable the students to:
- Evaluate the development of Indian writing in English
- Assess the socio-cultural milieu of the time; the trends and individual style of the representative writers
- Appraise the various forms of poetry and drama and the different literary devices
