Movie Screening of The French Lieutenant’s Woman

The Department of English organized a Movie Screening of The French Lieutenant’s Woman for the M.A.(Final) students on 8 September 2018. Greatly appreciative of the encapsulated message of the movie, an adaptation of the book by the same name by John Fowles, the students then discussed the approach and the characterization of both the mediums, that is, literal and cinematic. It gave the students an insight into the intricacies of cinematic adaptation of texts.
