Readers' Club activity - Emotions: A Universal Language

- Readers’ Club activity 

The Department of English conducted its monthly Readers' Club activity on the 27 November 2021, organized by students of MA(Prev). The title of the activity was “Emotions: A Universal Language” wherein the students were asked to pre watch two short films, titled The Box and Umbrella. Another short film, Tokri, was screened for the students. After the screening, they were given the opportunity to express themselves on the topic. Students showed an active participation and shared their views that they imbibed by watching the films. The discussion had varied points made by them, ranging from child psychology to human emotions and even on the methods of production and direction of the short films. Professors of the department also gave their insights and diligently participated throughout the event. The activity was concluded by words of appreciation by Dr. Rimika Singhvi, the head of the English department. It was an engaging and an informative session.
