Readers' Club Activity-“Gallery Literaria”.

The Department of English conducted a Readers' Club Activity on 30 September 2022 organized by the students of M.A. Sem III on the topic “Gallery Literaria”. It was based on calling upon the students’ creative faculties in presenting a visual image of an iconic scene from a literary text of their choice and presenting it as a poster. The students selected literary texts for inspiration from different genres such as peace, love, greed, and others. The displayed illustrations were open for everyone to present their point of view regarding the literary text represented therein. The use of color and the inspiration behind the illustration/ painting/ sketch choice were much appreciated. Active participation was seen on the part of the students and the teachers too. The session had each one’s creative juices flowing all through and ended with food of thought for all. It allowed all to reflect on the workings of their inner self and life choices.
