IIS University in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, UK organized a one-day teacher support programme (BEC TSP) on Jan 11, 2020, in the meeting room of the University with a purpose of orienting the participating faculty members with the examination pattern of Central European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The workshop comprised about 12 faculty members and research scholars from various state and private universities of the city wherein Ms. Diksha Agarwal, a freelance CESOL teacher-trainer, served a fine resource person. The tsp was impregnated with a variety of zestful activities, videos, and PowerPoint presentations so as to engage and prepare the candidates to take the BEC International tests of proficiency in English offered by the University of Cambridge, UK. It commenced with the sessions on the three levels of tests Preliminary, Vantage and Higher, two of the skills reading and writing formed the part of the pre-lunch session and speaking and listening were taken up thereafter at the IIS lawns. Dr. Rimika Singhvi, Head, Dept. Of English then presented a memento to the facilitator as a token of gratitude.
