Objective: 
  • The course will enable the students to:

    • Get introduced to literary texts that prioritize women’s issues, across continents
    • Get oriented to the selected writers’ individual cultural bearings and literary sensibilities

  • Gain an understanding of diverse literary texts through the perspective of gender and to use it as a context for reading literary texts by women
  • Get an insight into theorizing women’s writings drawn from across continents
