Objective: 

The students will:

CO68. Examine various cultural, political, social and historical contexts shaping this literature

CO69. Develop skills to attempt a detailed literary and thematic analysis of the 20th century prose and fiction

CO70. Relate the key features and questions defining modernism in prose and fiction and familiarize themselves with techniques such as psychoanalysis and stream of consciousness

CO71. Chart out the eddies and currents of 20th century prose to study changes in technique and narration in specific genres, especially science and popular fiction
