Reading Prose and Fiction
The course will enable the students to:
- Evaluate a variety of prose and fictional works
- Appraise nuances of the styles of representative authors in terms of the age / period of the works
- Understand the fundamentals of fiction, viz. theme, structure, point of view, referential and connotative meaning and language
