Nineteenth Century Poetry and Drama-II
The course will enable the students to:
- Further their understanding of the trends in Victorian literature with emphasis on socio-cultural contexts
- Get a deeper insight into the representative poets and dramatists, their style and treatment
- Understand the significance of the prevailing moral debates in the Victorian era and their representation in literature
