An Enrichment Lecture on Postcolonial Theory and Diaspora was organized on 7 Nov. 2016 by the department. The lecture was delivered by Prof. P.C Kar from Baroda. He spoke on length on the topic. He urged readers to realize the necessity of  learning to assimilate the known and the unknown, the Self and the other, the host of cannon literature currently disseminated and the more obscure texts that have thus far remained academically unexplored
