A one-day Teacher Support Programme, for the purpose of faculty development, was held in the Dept. of English on 27 Feb. '15. The primary objective was to orient participating faculty members engaged in preparing student-candidates to take the Business English Certificates Tests of English, offered by the University of Cambridge, U.K., in partnership with British Council, New Delhi.

The facilitator for the day was Mr. Kalpesh Amin, Master Trainee for Cambridge English Language Assessment, New Delhi. Mr. Amin took the participants through the pattern of assessment, methodology to be used, classroom activities, test videos, etc. to familiarize them with the nitty-gritty of exam-preparation for helping candidates ace the tests.

Apart from faculty members of the university's dept. of English, there were two teacher-participants from the India International School as well.
