Objective: 
The Course will enable the students to critique the socio-cultural contexts, trends, and unique styles of representative Indian writers writing in English and explore and appreciate diverse literary forms, while examining a variety of influences as reflected in literature.
Course Outcomes: 
The students will:

the Sufi and Bhakti traditions,
writing in Hindi and Urdu
 
CO8. Assess Indian culture via
the English language and
explore philosophical and
cultural representations of
various issues, examining the
role of diversity to understand
tribal/ dalit voices

development of Indian writing
in English with a comparison
and contrast between writers
of different eras.

appreciate the various forms
of poetry and drama.
CO11. Discuss the development
of social and cultural systems
from various historical and
environmental systems.
