Objective: 

The course will enable the students to:

  • Coordinate the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing to maximize holistic competencies
  • Efficiently recognize and interpret the use of literary devices and other stylistic devices used in prose and poetry
  • Acquire the skills to critically appreciate prose and poetry with a deeper understanding of structural and literary devices
