The main goal is to introduce students to research. In keeping with this goal, the main aims and objectives are:

•            Providing an introduction to research methodology

•            Orienting them to techniques of documentation

The student will be required to prepare and submit the Project Report / Term Paper. There will be an external evaluation by a Subject-Expert and a Departmental Panel, at the end of the Semester.

The Division of marks will be as follows:

• Internal Evaluation (Continuous Assessment) – 30 Marks, on the basis of :
  
  • Regularity
  • Data Collection
  • Contact with the Supervisor
  • Originality of the work
• Seminar & Viva-Voce – 70 (50+20) Marks
  
  • There will be a Subject-Expert and two Departmental Examiners, one of whom will be the Supervisor
